WHAT IS TEIS?

The Test in English for International Students, or TEIS, is intended to assess the English language skills of students applying to study or work in an English language environment.

TEIS is accepted by universities, colleges, and other educational institutions in almost all the major English speaking countries. It is recognised by the UK Border Agency. TEIS is also on the recognised list of English Language tests for Tier 1 & Tier 2 of the Points Based System for the UK. It is suitable for Tier 4 (student visa) applications where students are required to demonstrate competency in the English language at a minimum of CEFR level B1. TEIS is also widely accepted by employers.
